The Collection is my stretch work, where I use a different expression of my ideas and visions.

This page includes two projects I am especially proud of, "Returning the Soldiers to Barracks," a 2018 community project that projected images of 3,200 Tasmanian World War I soldiers onto Anglesea Barracks on November 11, marking the centenary of the war's end.

And "Finding Woodstock," the beginnings of my novel and the pilot and teaser we produced which explores themes of rural life and urban-rural cultural differences.

Finding Woodstock

A Comedy Fiction Novel

"In Woodstock, city smarts meet country wisdom."

When city journalist Michael John Page arrives in the isolated town of Woodstock to take charge of a failing newspaper, he discovers that small-town life has its own wisdom to offer. Through encounters with memorable locals—from a tart-tongued boss to a card-sharp landlady—he finds unexpected purpose in an unlikely place.

"The old Mercedes rode the tarmac with ease, comfortable through the corners and unrestrained by the hills, as if visiting old friends and familiar sights. The car rolled through the rural terrain like it had been doing it every day of a very long life."

Mike's novel opens with a man fleeing heartbreak, his aging Mercedes carrying him toward the isolated town of Woodstock—where a mobile phone's urgent ring will change everything…
